Mini splits do not consume refrigerant. If your system is low on Freon, it means there is a leak. Symptoms include blowing warm air, ice building up on the indoor coil or outdoor lines, and a noticeable drop in efficiency. We use electronic leak detectors to find and patch the leak before recharging.
